Synopsis

Born in Germany in 1906, Hannah Arendt moved in New York during the Second World War, where she became one fo the leaders of the American intelligentsia. Her analyses about totalitarism, about the Jewish condition, or about the Eichmann case have raised violent reactions towards her, until today. Secrete and discrete about all that pertained to her private life, Hannah Arendt largely contributed to the complexity of her character. Thanks to her unpublished correspondance with M. Heidegger of K. Jaspers, we gain access with this film to the woman the intellectual, and the philosopher she was at the same time.
