Synopsis

The story of the excavations of Angkor is also the story of Cambodia, as seen in the romantic and perilous adventures of the men who sacrified everything to preserve this world monuments. Sent by EFEO and UNESCO to save an endangered site, these men discovered a passion and devotions for a beleaguered country and its civilization.
