Formed with the historian Evelyne Lever, Marie-Antoinette specialist world-recognized, this show suggested an original and unknown vision of the famous Queen, that we discover here as a "Queen of Art", passionated and influential patron of the art and of music of her time. On the eve of her execution the queen unrolls the line of her life, combining her souvenirs, music and opera extracts which accompagny her, as flash back highlighting her emotions . A world creation for the Radio France festival at Montpellier Languedoc Rousillon, the show brings together an exceptional casting arround Natacha Regnier in the title role. For his direction, Jean-Paull Scarpitta has chosen to work with Milena Canonero for her costumes (rewards with 3 oscars for Barry Lindon, Les Chariots de feu and Marie-Antoinette of Soffia Coppola) and Georges Veil, colleague of Bob Wilson, operator.

We had confided to Andy Sommer, reknown author for severals musical movies.
