Synopsis
Full employment appears to be the symbol of a bygone past. AI machines, more reliable and less expensive than manual labor, are in the process of replacing us, while the algorithms’ growth contributes to an increasing automation of work. The next target of this fourth industrial revolution: white collar workers, the core of the middle class.
“A Jobless World” leads an investigation on the beginning of the end of manual labor. The film sets out to meet with scientists, entrepreneurs and whistleblowers of this new world in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Silicon Valley and the East Coast of the United States. The intention is to expose the behind the scenes on this unprecedented technological and social division.
