Synopsis

Interviewed at her own home for the very last time, Françoise Giroud talks about her life in her own way, with her usual courage and without concessions. She recounts all the major stages of her life – her childhood, her early career in cinema, her work as a journalist and author, her role as government Minister in the 1970s. It is a self-portrait painted with realism and lucidity, with an incisive eye and nobility of phrase, a portrait that is a world apart from all the stereotypes.
