JACQUES CHARDONNE’S FELICITY

The first ever document about the life and works of Jacques Chardonne with a vast selection of original material. Two parallel themes running through the programme are examining the author’s sensitive approach : Firstly, Jacques Chardonne and his sentimental journey is evocated by an actor reading and speaking the author’s texts. Secondly and in order to underline the eternal aspect of his work, we have sollicited the participation of personalities who know Jacques Chardonne and this is presented in the form of filmed interviews – Ginette Guitard-Auviste, Michel Déon, André Bay, François Nourissier, François Fontaine, Jacques Brenner.
