Synopsis
The film introduces us to the Plains Indians who have always lived in osmosis with nature, between tribal wars, the cult of bravery, the culture of dreams and complex social codes, both free and very hard. On the Trail of the Plains Indians is a dreamlike journey into the heart of the Indians’ soul and culture, with surprising, violent or poetic insights, far from the clichés and Hollywood imagery; right up to the encounter with today’s artists.
