Synopsis

From September 1944 till August 1945, during eight months, the uppercrust of the french collaboration (Pétain, Laval, Déat, Doriot), takes refugee in a typical Offenbach style castle, Sigmanringen, the officially declared french capital city in Germany. Some of them had an anachronical luxurious way of life while some others were starving. The great writer, Céline, has described the cynism which caracteries the behaviours and the relationships between the actors. The film will depict the ambiance of such a unique setting and the incredible interaction of these characters unlike anyone has shot before.
