THE GONCOURT OF THE GONCOURT

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Prix Goncourt literary prize, a detective sets off to seek out the former winners of the award. There are around thirty glorious survivors. A brilliant selection of successful authors who, through their replies, shed some light on the mysteries and hazards of this literary award, about the increased power that it brings and the consequences of winning it. This inquiry, conducted by Denis Podalydès, is both an investigation and a game. For, to prolong the exploration, we ask the winners to elect, among the kings of the Goncourt, the king of kings, the Goncourt of the Goncourts.
