Piazza Vittorio is one of Rome’s most ethnically diverse neighborhoods. Fernando, a young political activist from Sicily, and Shince, his Indian friend, are fighting to keep their cricket club alive. We follow them over five years of friendship as they transition into adulthood, shaped by their hopes and disappointments. They meet, drift apart, and come together again to rebuild a multicultural team… Through cricket, it ultimately becomes the story of a friendship, set against questions of identity and a fierce desire to find one’s place. This documentary, with the feel of a coming-of-age journey, takes us through Rome as two friends search for their roots and the meaning they want to give to their lives.
