Cinétévé

Cinétévé is an independent audiovisual production company that has been active on the market for over 40 years.

It is owned by Fabienne Servan Schreiber, who founded it in 1982 and has served as its President ever since.

Over the years, the company has produced more than 1,000 hours of television programs — including fiction, documentaries, animation, special projects, and short formats — as well as around ten feature films.

Its main areas of production includes:

– Television dramas;

– Documentaries, most often focusing on historical, social, political, cultural, or educational topics;

– Feature-length documentaries and fiction films;

– Re-creations of live performances, particularly operas;

– Short programs.

While Cinétévé embraces a wide variety of productions — in both genre, format, and storytelling approach — professionalism and a commitment to quality remain the hallmarks of each of its projects.
Equally constant is its desire to inform and move audiences, and its enduring passion for a form of television that is curious, bold, and meaningful.

In 2020, Cinétévé launched its new distribution branch: Cinétévé Sales.
It handles pre-sales and sales of documentaries and performing arts programs, acquires external titles for international distribution, and develops international co-productions with foreign partners.

Cinétévé’s productions are regularly recognized by the press, celebrated by audiences, and awarded at prestigious French and international festivals.
