Synopsis

I came as well to know why Keltoum, my mother, gave me to some Europeans. Rallia, a young woman with Algerian origins, returns to her village to search her roots. She looks for her mother Keltoum, and the other members of her poor family, knowing only that she works in a hotel far away. Followed like a shadow by Nedjma, her aunt, Rallia starts an initiatory journey through a land of misery, violence and intolerance, until she arrives to the hotel for Europeans, where a surprise is waiting of her…
