Share
Synopsis
When a great actress, Juliette Binoche, meets a phenomenal English choreographer and dancer, Akram Khan, and they decide to imagine a performance together at the frontier between dance and theatre, it’s no surprise to see creative sparks fly…
Juliette and Akram set off in search of each other, driven by the desire to uncover unknown territories. They cultivate and initiate each other into the secrets of their respective arts, using their bodies and words to improvise and explore the relationship between a man and a woman who seem uncannily like themselves. The director accompanies Juliette and Akram through eight months of a self-made creation, giving viewers the privilege of sharing the intimacy of a very special artistic union.
