Synopsis

In 1910, a seven -year -booy, terrified at the thought of losing all of life’s moments of joy and wonder, set out to capture them forever. This childhood obsession would justify a lifetime’s work. Until the age of 92, Jacques -Henri Lartigue would take more than 150 000 photographs, pen 50 000 pages of his diary and paint hundreds of painting with the same fierce determination. Our film is more than just a documentary : it is a journey through a century of romance and insolence, with extraodinary documents that are the mirror of the most beautiful sites, the loveliest women, a dream life of a dream France, as seen through intimate, nonconformist eye of one of the greates photographers of our time.
