PARIS OF CEDRIC KLAPISCH

The “Klapisch bets” brings us to discover the atypical, audacious and contrasted univers of the director, and approches closely to his relationship to cinema and draws the filmmaker portrait, who can be qualified as an “out of common” man. A travelling which makes us discover that an improbable influence can appear behind the stage and that a movie canhide another, as the nest dolls we find in “les Poupées Russes”.

Beyond analysing his way of working which makes him different from his models, we discover his glance as a photographer, his interest  music, his inclination for the city whether close or far (Paris, Barcelona, Saint Petersbourg…), his fondness for travel since his cinema’s studies in New-York and his willingness for transmission.
